Why you'd want to live in Garden Valley
The Garden Valley is located just a short drive up highway 21 from Boise. It's nestled in the Southwest Salmon River Mountains in the Boise National Forest, with North Fork of the Payette River to the west and South Fork Payette River to the south. One of the most popular second home areas for residents of the Treasure Valley and beyond this little gem of an area has recreation opportunities to spare. Hunting, fishing, recreational riding and huckleberry picking are some of the locals favorites. It's also an area known for fantastic whitewater and hosts some of the largest kayaking events in the sport. But, if a quite summer float is your jam there's plenty of calm water for rafters and tubers too.
